Do you have an uneasy feeling you should be using the internet to find more customers, clients or fans?
Much as you hate the idea of old-school ‘pushy’ marketing tactics…
…even if you were given a website for free, would you know what to do with it?
Is it possible for customers, clients or fans to come to you, instead of you having to chase them?
Whether you’ve got a business to run, clients to serve, a book to write, music to perform, or art to promote: you need an audience.
Your audience are the people who not only appreciate what you do, but like and trust you enough to pay you for it.”
Without an audience you’re merely an amateur with a hobby.
Where to start?
How do you reach your audience, get them to pay attention, and ultimately buy from you?
There are countless websites and blogs offering all kinds of ‘marketing’ advice and shiny objects. Trouble is, it tends to be fragmented, loaded with jargon, misleading, out-of-date, or irrelevant.
Whether you’re looking to take things to the next level, or just starting out, our mission is to demystify the best advice as it applies to talented independent business owners, professionals, musicians, authors & artists like you.

How to keep going?
Maybe you’ve started to figure it out but you keep getting bogged-down with the day to day pressures of life.
So you quit and go back to how you’ve always done things. Running in ever smaller circles.
Meanwhile, your goals and dreams remain as distant as ever.
There is hope!
The possibilities and opportunities for you to reach and connect with your audience and so make your ideas happen are now better than at any time in history. Why?
- You don’t need old-school connections because you can make your own
- You don’t need (much) money because the tools are free or inexpensive
- You don’t need to be a technical wizard because the right tools are easy enough for anyone to use
- You don’t need traditional gate-keepers because you can connect with your audience directly!
What do you need?
A great product or service, or book, or show is not enough. The world is noisier, and we’re all more distracted than ever before.
A website is a start but without a road map it’s like a car without fuel. The same goes for a Facebook page, Twitter account or app. None of these things will do anything for you without a platform.
Not so long ago a hill or wooden stage might have worked. In the 20th century, you needed to secure funding from a venture capitalist, get signed to a mainstream publisher, or land a record deal with a major label.
Today, it’s different. We all have access to each other via the web, social media and blogs. But, to cut through the noise and get heard you need a platform.
Your platform
Your platform is made up of the techniques and tools you need to reach & connect with your audience.”
Your platform will help you build a direct and ongoing relationship with your audience, capture their imagination and gain their trust.
Find and keep more customers, clients & fans
Your platform is the key to getting your audience to find you, instead of you having to chase them.
Your platform means no more having to scratch around for an anonymous, fly-by-night audience for each new show, product or book launch.
Your platform will let you escape the ‘famine & feast’ cycles of only having clients when you cannot deal with them.
Cut-out costly middle-men
Your platform will help you cut-out the middle-man and so retain more financial and creative control, stop losing out on costly commissions & royalties, and keep more of your hard-earned cash.
Free-up more of your time to do what you’re best at
Your platform can help you free-up the time and regain the control you need to stay focussed on the big picture, do what you do best, and move toward your goals and dreams.
Whether you want to take your business to the next level, or make a living from your writing, music or art, you need a platform.
